Mike McGriff
Superintendent
Zac Tapio
Superintendent
Zac Tapio has served as a Project Manager at Grove Custom Homes and Remodeling since 2019 guiding clients through the construction process from concept to completion. His hands-on approach and strong communication skills create efficient jobsites and lasting relationships with both homeowners and trade partners. When he’s not managing projects, Zac enjoys spending time with his family and tackling home improvement projects of his own.
Jessica Beam
Project Manager
Jessica brings extensive residential project management experience to Grove Custom Homes and Remodeling, having previously managed builds from start to finish with a large national building firm in Portland. With deep family roots in construction, she combines her industry knowledge with exceptional organizational skills and proactive communication. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys reading, baking, and spending quality time with her family.
Grove Hunt
Owner
Grove Hunt is a lifelong Portland native with a deep appreciation for the city’s neighborhoods, design styles, and people. Since founding Grove Custom Homes & Remodeling in 1998, he’s built and remodeled hundreds of homes throughout the Portland metro area, combining craftsmanship, creativity, and care in every detail.
Outside of building, Grove enjoys yoga, skiing, hiking, and taking full advantage of the Pacific Northwest’s incredible mix of coast, mountains, and desert.
Davina Castellana
Bookkeeper
Davina Castellana serves as Controller at Grove Development, overseeing all financial operations including billing, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and financial reporting. With a background in public accounting and construction finance, she has streamlined company processes since 2022 and improved the administrative systems. In her free time, Davina enjoys spending time with her family, learning new skills, and pursuing creative projects.
Carey Hunt
Land Aquisition and Director of Marketing
Carey leverages her expertise in real estate and construction to help clients make informed decisions about remodeling versus selling their homes. She provides personalized consultations and advisory appointments to evaluate options and develop customized solutions. Outside of work, Carey stays active with hot yoga, pickleball, skiing, and hiking with Grove and our lab, Sully.
